Fantastic wedding venue, the view and stone work is really quite something. If your searching for a venue it's worth checking out the garden

The Cottesloe Civic Centre lies on the corner of Broome and Napier Streets, Cottesloe, Western Australia. It is a local landmark featuring a substantial two storey building with white walls and an orange tiled roof in the Spanish Mission style. Over 2 hectares (5 acres) in area the site offers extensive views westwards over the Indian Ocean and is a popular venue for picnics, concerts, meetings and weddings. It includes the administration centre for the Town of Cottesloe, the War Memorial Town Hall and extensive walled and landscaped grounds with tall Norfolk Island pines.

Have been to both a wedding and a birthday here and found it to be a perfect venue. Very picturesque, beautiful open lawns with sweeping views of Cottesloe beach. Plenty of elegant staircases for great photo opportunities. Would be nice if there were more trees around to provide shade. Parking can be a bit tricky for large events.

Went there to have a picnic in the grass area, so would not know about wedding or other functions. Awesome place for barbecue or picnic on the grass. Finding the parking area (for the civic centre) and the right gate for entry ( there are several of them) are confusing unless you have visited this place before. Only after getting in for the first time, you will know ample parking and easier entries are available around the place. Google map may not help as it will show a road that is not open for entry. Once you have got into, it is a great place for having barbecue or picnic and children will love it.

A historic spot which was once a private home and grounds it was purchased for use by the Cottesloe Town Council in 1949 and has been used by them since. It has a 'secret garden' feel to it as the grounds are made up of a miriad of garden rooms held together by beautiful staircases and paths. You will often find weddings and various celebrations being held in the grounds. It's a fantastic spot for a picnic and views of Cottesloe beach. One of my favourite places on earth.

One of the best hidden gem in the Perth! Only 5 mins walk from Cottesloe beach. Great place for picnic and photo shoot as well.

The venue is beautiful and made for a wonderful wedding at the War Memorial Hall. Just be careful about the pricing as the mayor approved a price rise to $300 an hour for the hall This price is not advertised alongside the price for other types of bookings at the hall on the Town of Cottesloe website. Furthermore the process for hall hire does not cater for bringing service vehicles such as caters onsite to set up. Our wedding was on a Saturday and on the Wednesday I was told try to get the rego and type of vehicle and email to council. 20 mins before the council closed on the Friday I was told I need the name and mobile as well. When we said that is not possible the council said have a nice wedding and hung up on us. On the wedding day 3 council rangers were standing at the entrance in an intimidating manner and luckily let the services onsite but made the guests very uncomfortable. I gave 2 stars as the venue is beautiful but not worth the stressful experience the Town of Cottesloe put us through.

Well what can you say about this place....It is truly a hidden gem in the busy suburbs that is easily forgot. It is a beautiful landscaped ground surrounded by early century stone walls, stairs, arches, balconies and with the added iron gates giving it the whole secret garden feel.We had our wedding here and couldn't imagine a better place! We will be coming back for years to come just for a walk through the grounds, a picnic, a BBQ, anything is possible here a truly unique and incredible place in perth.
